This little guy is a leafy sea dragon. It's related to the sea horse and can grow up to 12 inches in length.

This little meerkat was having a snooze while his pal was standing on guard.

Molly is one of the oldest animals at the San Diego Zoo. The first photo shows Molly trying to grab a bite to eat, but the leaves always remain just beyond her reach.

The Star of India





The Star of India, a three-masted ship is the oldest iron-hulled merchant ship afloat. During her lifetime she circumnavigated the globe 21 times. The Star of India is docked at the harbor in San Diego.

I'm back after a long absence. In 2006, my wrists and hands were so swollen with RA that I couldn't hold anything heavier than a plastic cup, so with sad regrets, I set aside my Fuji S5100. Last summer we bought a small Canon A570IS to take on our holidays. Most of the pictures I'm posting were taken on our Disneyland/San Diego trip.
